Velázquez on Lunar New Year

Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Nydia M. Velázquez (D-NY) issued the following statement recognizing the start of the Lunar New Year.

"As families gather in the coming weeks, let me wish a joyous celebration to all those observing the Lunar New Year. A time to honor ancestors, bring life to cherished traditions and celebrate a year full of hard work, may this Year of the Dog create many new memories.
