A Note to New York's Veterans

Dear Neighbor,

New York City is home to 200,000 veterans and an estimated 7,100 veterans and their family members live in our Congressional district. I believe supporting our veterans and their families requires more than lip service; it means ensuring they can access benefits they deserve.

This Congress, I'm working with my colleagues to help fill gaps in medical and other services to assist former servicemembers. I've authored two bills to advance this goal.

December Update 2017

A Note from Rep. Velázquez

Dear Friends,

As we approach the holiday season and end of the year, I wanted to reach out and give you an update on some of my activities this fall.

As a New Yorker, I oppose President Trump's agenda and what it will mean for our City's working families. From health care to the environment, I believe this Administration is working to gut programs and undermine protections for our working families, all in the hopes of giving billionaires a tax break.
