Velázquez Introduces Legislation to Expand Section 1071 to Non-Bank Lenders

Velázquez (D-NY) has announced the Expand Education Deduction for Teachers Act, which is a bill that would amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to increase the Educator Expense Deduction to $2,000 and allow early childhood educators to take advantage of the tax benefit.
